The Annual General Membership meeting of Local 410 was held last night (November 29).

The AGM will happen on November 29 this year, at Central with special guest Tammy Simonds, our CUPE Rep.  Please help us celebrate her coming retirement.
There will be the usual annual reports and election of officers.

Thanks to those who came to the September 27th meeting.  A full quorum was present and business was conducted.

A fine and fabulous time was had at CUPE 410 first Frock Swap. We raised $377 for Sandy Merriman Transition House and took home some great clothes.
May 14 update - The total is now up to $425.00.

At Monday’s general meeting, members voted to donate $300.00 to relief for Haiti.
After some research the Executive have decided to do this via “The Humanitarian Coalition”, whose web site is at http://www.thehumanitariancoalition.ca/, and members who wish to add their own donations can do so at this web site.
